If championships were won on character, heart, and grit, my Bulldogs would be #1 in the nation. Instead, we'll have to settle for 2nd Place in the McAuley 2011 Freshmen Finale: Beating TF South 8-7, McAuley 5-1 & Stagg 12-4 before falling to Marist 12-5. Congrats to Marist, but I'll take my girls against them anytime anyplace. The heart & tenacity of this team almost brings me too tears. Great Season Girls 20-5.
